We don’t just want to be paid for our work — we want the money that circulates through music to stay with artists and communities, not with companies that invest in agendas we cannot support — including those that fund fascist politicians and anti-human systems.
We believe the power these streaming platforms hold over both artists and listeners is a threat to art itself. It risks turning music into yet another hollow capitalist product.
The popular streaming services have prioritized profits over people, investors over musicians. We reject this. We’re building something else — something fun, exciting, ethical. Something that protects the soul of music.
